FINANCE MANAGER
Location: London-based (4 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours p/w
Salary: £40,000 p/a

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to spearhead our financial operations and strategy, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Managing and reviewing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and supplier payments.
Preparing monthly Management Accounts and presenting key insights to senior leadership.
Collaborating with on-site team members to optimise revenue tracking and financial reporting.
Leading the preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
Ensuring accurate bookkeeping and maintaining financial records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns and other statutory filings.
Identifying opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement across the business.
Producing regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for key stakeholders.
Supporting the Head of Finance with cash flow management, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
Assisting with investor reporting as needed.

Location: Based at our London office, with flexibility for hybrid working (1-2 days p/w).
Hours: Permanent, full-time role: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (40 hours/week).
Occasional longer hours may be required during busy periods.

AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent) is required.
Proven experience in a Finance Manager role or similar, ideally in a start-up or SME.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced in Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting platform Xero.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Exceptional communication skills, with confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and drive process improvements.

Start Date: Ideally April 2025 (we can be flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: £40K
Working Arrangement: Office based with negotiable/potential 1-2 remote days
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
